Gavin M. Willman, also known as "Mav" is an Italian-American Illustrator, Designer, & Graphic Design Artist. He received his AFA in 2022 from Grand Rapids Community College in their Art/Architecture/Mechanical Design Program. Later, he transferred to Kendall College of Art & Design in 2023 and received his BFA in Digital Art & Design in December 2025.
As an Illustrator and Designer, his mission is to connect and bring people together as a community through his art. He has a street comic style with a touch of anime. Storytelling is a big part of his identity and he strives to connect and problem solve efficiently through his designs. Flow and movement are also a big part of his identity when he illustrates.
